Roll Call

The Center for Cyber and Homeland Security on Wednesday, March 27th, 2019 hosted the rollout of the Department of Homeland Security’s guidance for the upcoming GPS rollover.  Bob Kolasky, director of the DHS Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s National Risk Management Center provided opening remarks, and then participated in a conversation with CCHS and McCrary Institute director  Frank J. Cilluffo.

A panel discussion moderated by CCHS Senior Fellow  Cheri Caddy followed. The panel included senior-level US Government representatives and subject matter experts on positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) issues related to critical infrastructure. They discussed the rollover event, its implications for critical infrastructure (e.g., time dependencies), and the interdependence of time and cybersecurity.
