Mary Barton

Mary Barton is a historian with the Department of Defense. She received her Ph.D. in history from the University of Virginia and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in U.S. Foreign Policy and International Security at Dartmouth College. Her research examines the development of modern counter-terrorism strategies and practices. She is currently a Senior Fellow at the Auburn University Center for Cyber & Homeland Security and a World War I Fellow at the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs.
